Prayers, good vibes whatever you do please think of my grandparents. My mamaw is in critical condition in ICU with double pneumonia. Her home caregiver found her unresponsive in the floor yesterday. She didn’t have a pulse until the EMT’s got there to work on her. My heart is breaking for my pawpaw who lives to take care of her. They have been married over 65 years…. could you imagine??
I walked into their place right before Christmas and my grandma said to me “you got you a husband yet?” I laughed and said mawmaw I just got a divorce last week. She said “well you need to find you one like your pawpaw” “that man has taken care of me and loved me my whole life” of course it just hits me like damn mawmaw it’s not like I can just go pick one up. I did tell her that I will not marry again until it is a man like my pawpaw. She said good.
