When we buy anything online, one of the first things that most of us do is look at the reviews. We can often tell if something is worth buying or not by reading about others’ experiences while using it.
One individual who understands the power of reviews very well is Chris Kyle. As an entrepreneur, he knows what it’s like to be a small business owner and he wants to help others succeed.
One of the benefits that Chris has by owning his own business is that most of his time is spent at home. That allows him to spend extra time with his daughter, Ava, and to be there as she grows up right before his eyes.
He also supports Ava as a small business owner. It all started when his wife purchased a toy kitchen for her, and she opened up that kitchen in her living room.
Chris said: “When my wife made the purchase, I was hesitant about spending a few hundred dollars on it. It has been worth every penny. Ava is the star of her own little world when she is ready to play.”
After visiting his daughter’s restaurant in the living room, he went to Instagram and posted his own review. It was everything you would hope it would be.
“So I tried to support another Black Owned Business for lunch today,” he wrote. “It’s called Ava’s Kitchen, just opened end of April. It’s a very clean establishment, but whewww let me tell you about this owner.
“First off, I asked why there are balloons on my chair, and it’s not my birthday? She talm’bout, mind yah business; those are Mommy’s.”
Chris also had some concerns about the service provided at Avis Kitchen. He said: “I been waiting on my order to get done for 45 minutes, and I’m the only customer here. She was making good progress at first, then she stopped for 20 minutes to go watch Paw Patrol. Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance.”
He finished by saying that times are tough, and he’s glad to see that the post brought some bright times to the lives of people worldwide.
