The Duck Dynasty family tree just got a little fuller — and a whole lot sweeter.

Right in time for the holidays, Merritt Robertson and her husband, Tyler Metro, welcomed a brand-new addition to the ever-growing Robertson clan. The couple celebrated the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Nellie Jane Metro, sharing the joyful news on Instagram one week after her birth. “It’s been one week since our sweet Nellie Jane Metro arrived. We’re absolutely mesmerized,” Merritt wrote — and judging by the photos, this little one has already stolen plenty of hearts.

The snapshots captured Nellie in all her newborn charm — sporting a Minnie Mouse onesie, basking in her first winter sunshine, and even making a festive stop to see Santa. One especially touching photo showed Merritt in the hospital, holding her daughter close as Nellie rested peacefully on her chest — a quiet, powerful reminder of just how central family has always been to the Robertsons.

For longtime fans, the name Robertson carries plenty of history. Merritt is the daughter of Jep Robertson and Jessica Robertson, officially making Jessica a grandmother once again. And this season, it’s not just one new grandbaby — it’s a full-on baby boom.

Back in October, Merritt’s younger sister Priscilla Robertson also stepped into motherhood, welcoming her daughter August Mae Nash with boyfriend Dillon Nash. Two babies in two months means double the cuddles, double the celebrations, and likely a whole lot of pink outfits filling the house.

Jessica has been soaking up every moment of this joyful chapter. Sharing her excitement online, she wrote, “We are thrilled to welcome another precious grandbaby into our family. Nellie Jane Metro is such a blessing and we are so proud of you.” With six children of her own, Jessica is no stranger to big-family life — and she’s embracing her grandmother role with the same warmth and love fans have always admired.

Merritt and Tyler said “I do” in June 2024 and didn’t waste any time starting their family. When they announced the pregnancy, it was classic Robertson style — heartfelt, joyful, and centered on faith and gratitude. The couple shared sonogram photos and revealed that Baby Metro was due around Christmas, making Nellie’s arrival feel perfectly timed for the season.

Priscilla’s journey into motherhood has been just as meaningful. After August’s birth, Dillon shared his own message of gratitude, writing, “I am so blessed to be able to take care of this beautiful little girl and do it with the love of my life.” It was a simple sentiment — and a powerful one.

With two newborns arriving just weeks apart, the Robertson family isn’t just expanding — it’s flourishing. Duck calls and camouflage may still be part of daily life, but these days they’re sharing space with bottles, bows, and bedtime lullabies. The setting may have shifted, but the values haven’t: faith, love, and laughter remain at the center of it all.

And if there’s one thing people know about this close-knit Louisiana family, it’s that these babies are surrounded by a village that knows how to love deeply and raise them well. Little Nellie Jane and August Mae have entered the world wrapped in more warmth and care than most could ever imagine — a beautiful new chapter in the Duck Dynasty legacy, already off to a blessed beginning.
